Project Delivery Dashboards: What Leaders Should Measure

A useful project dashboard does more than count tasks. It should help leaders identify where delivery is drifting and who needs support.

Track schedule health

Monitor upcoming due dates, overdue milestones, blocked tasks and work in progress. Trend information is more valuable than a single percentage complete.

Connect delivery to commercial data

Where appropriate, compare project budget, approved scope, invoices, payments and additional services so delivery and finance teams work from the same picture.

Measure client-facing progress

Record approvals, outstanding client inputs, update frequency and unresolved issues. A project can be internally busy while still feeling silent to the client.
